Carve Transitions

Prerequisites:
Riding proficiency

To the Point:
Carve on to your opposite edge by carving the board around first, then moving the kite around to the other side of the window, keeping the nose of the board pointed just in front of the kite throughout the transition.

Step One:
Start shift your weight from the heel of your back foot over the toes of your back foot.

Step Two:
Start turning your front hip downwind which will turn the nose of the board downwind.

Step Three:
Start to bring the kite to twelve o'clock.

Step Four:
Continue to shift more weight over the toes of your back foot and turning your hips until the board is pointing toward the other side of the wind window.
